New Acquisition - Gruen Curvex?
I picked this up over the weekend. I'm not quite sure if this is a true Curvex or a pre-Curvex model. It looked to be in good shape and was a decent price so I couldn't pass it up. It has the 500 calibre movement and my guess is it's from possibly the mid-thirties? The engraving on the case made it seem more like a transitional style as tastes moved more for the cleaner lines and simpler watches of the 1930's. ........
