Watch repair moral dilemma...

I took one of my recent purchases, an Elgin automatic, to a watchmaker for an estimate to service it, and it was running very slow. Well, he said it needed a new mainspring and would cost $165 to overhaul. I thanked him for his time and retrieved my watch.I was a little disappointed, because when I got it back the stem wasn't installed properly and came out when I gently pulled it. Well, I figured out how to get the stem back in (I think - it wasn't threaded and kind of popped on with an audi........

I like it because I need the timer function, I prev used the mens larger one and found this, does the job for me, the mens watch I purchased years ago, lasted about 4 years.

Finally I found a cute watch that fits!!! I have extremely wrists about 4 1/2 in and the braided band is perfect for getting it snug around my wrists. I love the color and the size of the face. Would definetly recommend !!
