Is this a Frankenwatch
I picked up my first omega watch. It is a two tone submariner that started as a stainless watch. The bezel was replaced with a gold bezel and the bracelet was replaced with a two tone omega bracelet. As far as I can tell, these are authentic omega parts. I was told the watch was serviced late 2011. I will post photos as soon as I can. I am mostly interested in whether or not this will be considered Franken as it was altered from it's original state. I will service this watch before diving........
Perfect Overhaul!
About a month ago we discussed some apparent damage to the face and hands of my GMTII. 15 years old, and only 5 years since it's last overhaul, no one could suggest what might have caused the damage. I wore this watch most every day for 15 years, several winters on the Caribbean Sea, so who knows, might be sun, salt and sand for all I know.
