I have heard people talk about how you are not supposed to change the time/date between the hours of 10pm - 2am. Can someone tell me why that is or is not the case. I have heard different things on this subject and would like to know the correct information! Thanks!........
quartz watch repair
I have a Philip Admiral quartz chronograph that I recently sent for repair. I changed the battery myself and ever since was not working properlyI sent to a repair center and was told watch had to be disassembled and reassembled with necessary parts. Also threw in a sonic cleaning and 48hr time test. This comes out to $200 bucks. This seems a bit much for a QUARTZ repair. I was told it would be more to replace the movement. I questioned them and they took 10 dollars off Am I being hosed?........
