I've been wandering several auction and outright purchase sites lately and noticed more than a few "solid" gold watches being offered that have the, shall I say, cheapest, cheesiest, most ridiculous, watch bands attached. In my mind, if I was selling a solid gold watch, I'd want to present it in the most positive manner possible, especially when asking "premium money" for it.To me, it's like sticking a Volkswagen emblem on a Ferrari, or Rolls Royce etc. Put the old Speidel on a Timex (sorry Time........
Help me decide which Seiko Monster - 311, 315, 313, or 307 (will get bracelet)
I can't decide which Seiko Monster to get. If I get the 311 or 307 I won't have to buy the stainless Monster bracelet, but I am not sold on the all black bracelet and I'd like a little color, either red or orange, but not the full orange. I do like how the chapter ring on the 307 leans toward gray more than black, however. Currently, I'm leaning toward the 313 and a stainless bracelet. What do you think? I expect an answer from every single forum member, then I'll probably disregard them all and........
