Benrus

I posted the "before" picture of this Benrus a few months back. My brother worked in the HVAC field and had found it in a heating duct. From the looks of the watch it was probably in there for decades. Well here is the "after" picture. It keeps amazing time and looks pretty decent too. A Strap Tale

So I bought a ML Open Heart Masterpiece from a well known member here and with the watch came a brand-spanking new strap. Of course the strap is a bit too small, I was given the receipt so it should not be a problem getting it exchanged, right? Wrong, when I contacted ML parts she did not want to hear anything from me, I was not the original purchaser. "Get the original owner to contact us" she replied. Not a problem, he is a great guy. He calls and he too gets blown off. Hmmmmm. OK I call again........
