Yes, I caught the vintage Hamilton bug as some of you may recall, but after purchasing my first vintage Ham, it has gone down considerably! I wound up with a 1953 Automatic 2B Wind Indicator, and it looks to be in very nice condition. It's all original, except for a new crystal. Believe it or not, I was actually looking for a Myron or something similar, but when I stumbled across this auto, I just had to have it. Any opinions, and does anyone know anything about the watch? I was told that the watch I have had since I was 17 (now 45) was intended for the Asian market. It is a Seiko Sports 100 (8229-8019). I have for many years found it very difficult to find parts for it, maybe because of the age, but I was thinking another element that is impacting parts availability is the fact it was made for Asian market. Can anyone confirm this, and can anyone offer a source of replacement parts from Japan side? I also have a Seiko Sports 100 (8229-602A) that I need a rotating........
