Strap versus band

I'm realitively new to collecting Hamilton vintage watches. I've noticed that most if not all of the photos of Hamiltons posted in this forum contain leather or similar straps instead of metal bands.I prefer the leather straps because they're more comfortable on my wrist. I most cases, they enhance the watch itself. But some of the orginal Hamiltons came with a metal band.I just purchased a Hamilton "Russell" Ca 1957 that comes with the original Metal band. I have not received it yet, but in........
