Incoming vintage Benrus

So I've been looking for 1940s-1960s watches with 3/4" lug spacing, no divers, and they've been tough to find.Took a flyer on a rough Benrus in rose gold-fill because I wanted the little calendar off the band that was on it. Got the watch yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised that it takes a 3/4" strap!I was not pleasantly surprised by the condition, tho...pretty bad off, very well-used, and just filthy! Ceramic watches

Ceramic seems to be the not new material. Bell & Ross is offering a ceramic model, as well as a ton of other companies including Invicta.Does anyone here own a ceramic?If so, what do you think?While the material is highly scratch resistant, I gather it is very brittle and can shatter like a floor tile if dropped.Ever had this happen?Thanks!........

Beautiful watch! Wow! The face is especially unique and sparkles quite nicely! The watch is much nicer than the picture. Important features are saphire crystal, diamonds, Swiss movement. Can't beat the price for this quality! I bought it for a gift, but now I want one, too. Definitely recommend it!
