Question About Buyng a New Watch
I am looking to buy a new watch but decided to wait after a recent article I read on Time. Not sure if this is true but I figured a few veterans might be able to give me some good insight. I am looking to buy an Omega watch. The article I read said that omega is the only good investment. If i want to sell the watch later to get another one I don't want it to be worthless. Any opinions?........
Advice on auction
They will be up for auction locally as one lot, but the auction house advertises these to be from the 1920's. The Illinois is an automatic and whist I am not familiar with their watches I do not believe they made any auto's in the 20's. I would like to add some American watch brands to my little collection and the possibility to get 3 in one go is appealing, so realistically what would you guys be prepared to pay in an auction room not eBay ?........
