I went down to my local jeweler today and with him knowing my watch obsession, he brought out of the back a omega black dial sub mariner from 2006, brand new, never worn with all the tags and seals intact. Apparently some woman bought it for her boy friend and things didn't work out, she wants $3800 for it, as this would be my first omega purchase I'm not up on the prices. Thanks........

Finally got my buddies’ 14k Gruen running right. This thing is so pretty it hurts. It has all the bells, black textured dial, knotted lugs.Too bad it isn’t an American made movement. Nice 420 though. Same movement as the Pan Americans without the center seconds.I still have to adjust the second hand a little as it hits the hour hand at about 5 til 6 and stops the movement.
