My new Aquatimer"chirps"
Hello all. First, let me say I've been reading a lot of the posts on this forum and you are a great group of people with some amazing watches.I am new to IWC. I have been a huge Blancpain fan for many years but I recently discovered IWC. I just got my first, an Aquatimer on a steel bracelet. I also ordered the black band (nylon or Kevlar?) and I will switch in a couple months. I really, really wanted the new Ingenieur Vintage, but at twice the cost of the Aquatimer, I just couldn't pull the trig........

Kevin - I saw the Avanti Catalog link in the Orbita newsletter:http://www.orbita.com/NEW/images/Avanti_Catalog.pdfIt looks as though the Avanti 3, 6, and 12 models are offered in a different color of wood than the 24, 36, and 48 models. Is that the case?The wood color of the larger models looks more red toned to my eye, which would work MUCH better with my bedroom furnishings.........
