Here's an fyi post for anyone interested:Hadley USA manufactured watch bands and buckles in the 1940s-1950s (likely earlier). I'd seen more than a few original and NOS Elgin watches with Hadley expansions over the years, and noticed that the display packaging for replacement bands was marked "A Product of The Elgin Watch Company".I recently purchased some NOS Kreisler/Elgin straps with gold-filled buckles marked HADLEY. This is such a pretty watch, only it was too large for my wrist. The casing was a little too thick, but the design excellent. I had to send it back because it looked silly on my wrist. Shame really!!
