Mystery Pocket Watch

Hi there,I was given an old pocket watch by my grandfather who knew nothing of its provenance. Hunting around the internet I have not found out anything about the name on the dial - Tanis - and begin to think it may be nothing more than a replacement face. On back, it has the initials and emblems associated with the TCDD, Turkish Rail. It's mechanical, and it's not at all fancy, but I am curious to see if anyone has ever seen another watch with 'Tanis' on the face. JH........

This watch is awesome. It fits perfect and looks great. The solid black color looks tight and goes with any outfit. Didnt have any issues with having to re-size the watch, it fit perfect right out of the package.
