I am sick! I owned one of these and it is one of three that I sold at a garage sale. I have seen them on ebay for prices approaching $200. This one is priced at $389. Nostalgia pays.My watch said "Hamilton" but apparently some models carried the name "Buren" on the dial. Swiss Buren was part of the Hamilton company.Here is another one I owned as part of the Jay Ward series. While it is frequently sold in the $200-400 range, this one sold at auction in 2006 for over $600. Wow.........
What happened to...
....all the black straps with red stitching? I remember a few being on the market when I finished the restoration of the Heuer Autavia last year, but decided to wait to grab one. Silly of me, because they seem to have vanished! I also took a look at the strap for the Christopher Ward Speedhawk, but it's 22 mm at the lugs and I need 20. So what's a WIS to do?
