AT last!, my first ever omega watch. SUB.. it's amazingI bought this from an authorized omega dealer but, i've got a few questions hoping someone can ans.1. Is there a site i can check my serial number for it's authenticity?2. the SUb watch back case, doesn't come with any hologram which many are referring to. I asked about this to an agent, and she says taht holograms at the back only applies to prior M series models. Is that true?3. Many are talking about the laser engraved crown drawing right........
Seeking a Source for Gold Plating
HelloLooking for sources that can re-plate a watch case for a reasonable price. I'm restoring my father's first watch he received in the 1950's, a Croton EL, nothing fancy, but it does have a nice hand-wind movement inside it. The case needs to be re-plated with gold and I can't find a place that will re-plate for a reasonable amount of money. One quote was over $100. Something under $40 would be more what I'm willing to spend.........
