How Much For a Vintage LeCoultre Chrono?

I'm not actually asking what a vintage LeCoultre chrono would cost today but rather how much did a LeCoultre Chrono cost back in the early 70s?I ask because I just watched Electra Glide in Blue starring Robert Blake (1973) and they show a close up of his watch and it's a LeCoultre chronograph and from what I know about LeCoultre, I find it difficult to believe that a rookie motorcycle cop in Arizona could afford one.........
