Patek 5180T and 6000T
Hey all-I did a quick search of the forum and did not see any discussion of these 2 titanium PPs, and so I thought you all might like to have a look at them on my blog:I haven't been able to find much out about whether there are more of these (was there a 2008 edition?) so if anyone has any insights I would love to know.Cheers........
How much should you pay for a watch service...?
Just watched this tonight on a consumer advocacy type program here (Fair Go), and thought it might be of interest to WTF members (so uploaded it to Youtube). It pretty much details what we (WIS) already know: get your watch serviced through an AD and you can get considerable markup added to a job that's often not done by the AD themselves. You do get dealer support for parts and warranty though, and I know a lot of people will pay for this level of support. I guess I don't have an opinion either........
