Retrograding seconds?

I was wondering if anybody who knows watch movements can tell me if retrograding seconds cause more wear on the movement itself as compared to a movemet with the more conventional sweeping seconds. Maybe it's not the case, but i'm thinking any mechanism that has to torque a watch hand from a 60 second position backwards to the 1second position would be under a fair bit of stress.I am contemplating buying a watch with retrograding seconds and am worried it might cause issues for me down the road........

The look of the gold finish has a cheap look to it in my opinion. It's very light but it has that cheap feel to it. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't get it.

Hands down this is a great watch! the build quality is outstanding as it should be since its . You can't go wrong with this watch. the picture does no justice for it. Once you see it in person you can't take your eyes off it. has never let me down. shipping was pretty quick too. I got it in Two days through regular postal mail.
