IWC Henri-Stern 1958-60 Connection?
I have a 1958 IWC ref. 500 Cal. 853, 10 1/2 lig. men's wristwatch. Per the IWC extract it was sold on February 29, 1960 by/to Henri-Stern. I thought that beginning in 1958 Henri-Stern took over as President of Patek Philippe? Was he also selling IWC watches in New York at the same time he was operating as President for Patek Philippe? This seems a little bit curious, but might just be a lack of knowledge on my part on the issue. If any one can shed some light on this, what is a mystery for ........
