Straps for DD or DJ

Hey all,I got a question for you Day Date & DateJust experts.. I've seen leather straps on DateJusts, and I think I've seen one on a DayDate too (but I could be wrong here). I'd like to know, if I bought a DateJust on a bracelet, can I add a omega strap at any time? Or, does the watch have to be bought on the strap originally to get a strap? If it does, can you get a bracelet to go with it? I can see a benefit to having a bracelet for the everyday wear and a strap to 'dress up' the watc........
