Getting a Panerai 312

Hi guys, I am looking at getting a PAM312, mainly because the 320 would be my third GMT so I am a bit over it, and pretty much the same for the crono. Plus, I think the clean face of the PAM looks really nice, specially without magnification on the date. I just a have a few doubts with regards the 1950 collection. Is the main difference the fact that these watches have a full Panerai movement? I have also noticed small changes on the case. Moreover, is the new movement any good compared to the........

New day, new look

Today my watches got a little swap. The rubber strap that was in my Royale got the trash (junk) and I put the bracelet from my invicta on it. And my invicta got my edifice chrono bracelet because it's way nicer. But my poor Edifice has a cheap flimsy folded steel bracelet because it's waiting for a rubber strap. But here are the Royale and the ocean ghost........
