So, from the wisdom and knowledge vault of WTF, who or what company invented the first automatic mechanical wrist watch?Then, I've read about how quartz watches decimated the mechanical watch market and had absolutely horrible effects on the American watch industry, yet, by the 1980's, mechanical watches started to make a comeback and today mechanical watches are very popular once again and I think I even posted an article noting that such watches provide a very large profit for watch companies.........
