Somebody on Ebay has a listing for an Elgin Railroad Wrist Chronometer, but when you look at the watch, it's just a Plain Jain Elgin Deluxe from the 50s, which happens to be in a Railroad Chronometer box. AFAIK, the only 'Railroad Wrist Chronometer' that Elgin made was the BW Raymond. Originally these came with a 730A movment, then later the 780. Post 1964, I think, they also sold a BWR with a Swiss 21-jewel sweep seconds movement. Suffice to say the watch in the listing is none of these.Thi........
