IWC Perpetual servicing / screen question
Hi all!First time on a forum of any kind. Thought i'd try it out.Got hold of my first IWC. Its a used number thats about 10 years old, A IWC 3750 Da Vinci Perpetual Calender. Was wondering if any of you enlightened souls would know of the following:1) It needs a new glass screen..(i think they made them in mineral crystal for this model)2) Could do with a service..moon phase seems slightly off, however not sure if its different because i live in the southern hemisphereI live in sydney, australia........

CH says no one comes into his shop, so knock knock Which type of watch crystals can be polished ?I brought a watch to a shop a couple of weeks ago and he said it could not be polished because it would get too hot on the polishing wheel. So that means that there must be different types, my question is which types can be polished and is there a way to tell which type is on your watch. Also if the crystal cannot be polished and needs replacement is it better to then choose one that can be polished ........
