Hey guys !I finished the restoration on a VERY nice 1916 WWI Elgin Trench Watch with a Shrapnel Guard today so I thought that I'd share my results.This is a REAL WWI solid nickel Shrapnel Guard and NOT that CHEAP chrome plated reproduction that is flooding ebay right now.It has the "PAT/PEND/DUO" stamp underneath on the rim, it's the real McCoy ! ! ! No-name solid nickel case, I have concluded through my extensive research that in all likelihood Joeseph Fahy's & Company probably manufactured........
