Elgin Trench Watch
I just acquired a 1919 (?) Elgin Trench Watch which runs beautifully. The dial is almost perfect. The former owner replaced the strap and in doing so, it appears that he/she dislodged one of the wire lugs. Can these wire lugs be repaired (soldered???)I am a rookie with these trench watches. I have two and neither has the wire lugs.HELP.........

I am very interested to see what people think about car branded watches. I have been looking (a little to longingly) at the Panerai Ferrari models and in my research travels accross the interwebs, there were certainly many who have very strong views about car/watch brands. It was simply something that I had not thought of previously.
