Buying online vs in person.

So after drooling over tons of different websites for different brands, I've found that once I see a watch in person that I'd been considering it looses some of it's appeal. And while in the store, I'll see something next to it that looked terrible online but looks amazing in person. I'm not saying this is always the case, but it seems to happen enough that I feel like there's no longer any point to shopping online.Has anyone else experienced this?........
