Sad story, Patek Philippe found and lost?
In 1967 i was a 13 yr old boy and found a watch at the roadside in Bingley Yorkshire UK.It had no strap, it was gold, a little bit beaten up, two small dials at 9 and 3 oclock, and 2 square buttons, one either side of the crown.I knew nothing about watches, certainly had never heard the name Patek Philippe. All i can remember of the watch is that the dial had the name Philip on it, spelling unknown.I cannot for the life of me remember where the watch went to, whether i sold it at school for a fe........
