Is it feasible to have vintage (Hamilton) watches re plated with yellow, white or green gold? (When there's brassing, lug high point wear etc). Have any of you done this? Would one expect colour variations to the original? How is this regarded by the collecting community? (I've read the threads on face restorations; am now wondering about case restoration).It may be inappropriate to make supplier specific recommendations - if so please PM with supplier details, estimated prices and your expe........
