Starting up an old Omega Skeleton
Hello Watch Talk member,I just received my first ever vintage watch. It's a 1906 modified Omega skeleton converted to a wristwatch. I know it's not "original" but just fell it love with the way it looks. What I'm wondering is about getting the watch started. It has been explained to me that the older watches should never be wound too tightly. Of course, it's not running right now since I just got it out of the shipping box.
