An Old Time Favorite- E Howard & Co.
Loved looking at Bens' favorites, here's one of mine that I enjoy and hope you will too-An E. Howard & Company, Boston, Series III N size 15 jewel KW KS # 20172 which puts this around 1861 or so. Reeds 1857 patent barrel. Unfortunatly not the original case, I'm hoping to house this in one someday. Keeps time with a 992 which is a testament to the workmanship from back then.This came to me on a trade, a Ball RR wrist and a Cartier tank with a brutal case, in retrospect I think I came out ahe........
