Jut a quick question allhow much discount can or should one expect in the current economic climate? The staff member who attended to me seemed a bit sniffy in attitude at the very idea but the store manager (owner?) offered a 7% discount off list price for cash payment. Is that reasonable or should I shop around?p.s. Am looking to get a new gmtiic........
Has anyone else used this type of date display?
I stumbled across a Vandenbroeck & Cie watch the other day on the internet that had an unusual skeleton date display. The mechanics of it are common, but I thought the presentation was interesting. I guess what got me, was the idea of having the numbers all visible, but only the two relevant ones are easy to read. Has anyone else done this? Perhaps in a bit less clumsy way? It's really a shame it's such a mediocre watch, though I may still end up getting one, just because of that cool date d........
