Orbita Sparta: Follow Up & My Impressions
Greetings folks,In my previous thread I mentioned having some trouble with my Sparta. In short, I wasn't getting enough motion on the swings to keep my Glashtte Original Sport EVO wound. It would stop when the power reserve was expended. Changed the batteries. Nope. Not it. Kevin suggested a new cup and that's what did the trick. I could tell instantly that the bearing was smoother and consequently the number of swings about doubled.So I think that the "educational moment" this can offer........

A while back I became very interested in the independent watches, and I tried to learn about the different watchmakers and what they were building. I learned about Daniel Roth and about his history as a watchmaker. I was very impressed with his credentials and life experiences.
