Girard Perregaux Ferrari 8020

Well within a month of my acquiring my " Grail " 3573.50, I came across a well-known collector selling his newly-refurbished 1971 Speedy Pro. He couldn't sell it and eventually dropped the price to an unheard-of sum of $1100.That's eleven hundred dollars!!! Now if the gentleman had waited two months, he would easily have picked up a further three to four hundred for this very handsome watch. Later in the year, the watch would have fetched $1800 on that place by the sea let alone in sales corners........

Less than two months ago I purchased a Constellation with dual sub dials. It had an issue with the day and date not turning over correctly and folks on here were very helpful in getting it sorted out. Works perfectly now. I like the Constellation with the two claws on both sides and we'd gotten one for my dad a couple years back. I finally picked one up of my own and now less than two moths later I've put it up for sale. In its place, last Friday night I picked up a Seamaster GMT 50th Anniversar........
