I Can't See...

the bloody raised gold letters! Especially when the sun goes down. Auugghhhh!!!! I love wearing my Hamilton watches, especially my Wesley and the Langdon that Dan just sent me. But, I'm straining to read the raised gold letter dials, particularly in dim light. I guess 'father time' is catching up with me! :-0 I think it's the lack of contrast that gives me difficulty. Maybe the Hamilton models with luminescent or black numbers might be easier on my eyes. An early tonneau or barrel model?........

The Grail as a Beater

I was out working today with one of my 'safe' but cool 'beaters' - my sweet quartz Seiko. It looks good, has a brown croc band and my custom orange second hand.
