Orbita"rotorwind" mechanism - why is this better than fully programmable?
I have an Orbita Monaco multi-head winder and contemplating my next winder purchase. While I love the aesthetic design of the Orbita Avanti pieces, I was a little put off by the new "Rotorwind" mechanism.Seems that with the new system you:1) cannot select a single direction wind (half of my watches are 800TPD either CCW or CW only). Obviously the swinging motion of the Rotorwind mimics wrist winding but is this really best for a single direction wind watch? Wouldn't there be a clutch that suffer........
