The Beauty of Plastic
Most of my watches are sapphire crystal. The vintage stuff is plastic. I love them both. I only have one or two watches with mineral glass which scratches easily. I have to say that I think I prefer plastic over sapphire. I wonder how many others feel the same. I am about to buy another omega datejust, but it is pre-1990 in plastic form. I actually prefer it over my sapphire version. There is a warmth, depth and translucency to the plastic. I like that it is thicker. Scratches are easi........
