Explorer 1 36mm 14270 how does it really stand upagainst the others?
I have owned a 16233 datejust and a 14060M sub but having recently sold the sub I am looking at buying a "d" series explorer 1 but after reading Walt Odet's review of some years ago I am scared. So here are a few questions: 1. Does the 14270 use the 3130 calibre movement? if so, isn't that the same as the 14040M movement? respected Watchmaker Nicholas Hacko in Sydney, Australia has had some criticism of the explorer's movement.
