I was entering the 6th grade.I do remember paying $52.00 for it.I've activated the chime. twice on the hour, once at half hourI've worn it ALOT in the past 31 yrs. It's been in the Atlantic Ocean with me, Cumberland Lake Ky with me, several swimming pools.I still like the watch.
