Saphire crystal stains

Hello all...Last night during my nightly routine of washing my omega in lukewarm water with mild soap, I was in the process of drying the watch when with a reflection of the night table light I noticed what I consider to be the stains, silohuette, etc.. that drops of water or any liquid leave behind when they dry up.. That is strange because I always do a thorough job drying the watch.. I tried washing it again but the stains which appear clearly through a magnifying lense dont wash away!!!!! A........
