Today I am working on a 1917 Elgin General "Blackjack" Pershing Offset Trench Watch. Just finished cleaning the hands and then applied white enamel paint to the hour, minute and sub second hand. Setting the hour and minute hands on a toothpick works very well, your free hand holds the toothpick steady while applying the white enamel. As for the sub-second hand, use a worthless drop movement and install the sub hand then apply the white enamel. Start in and work your way out with one fluid stroke........
