A few more cosmetic changes: Consul, Mate, Blackstone
I had to get a few of my Illinois serviced and (in one case) repaired. Also some subtle cosmetic changes.The Blackstone had the side case engravings filled with black enamel paint; the Consul also had the case and bezel engravings filled with black enamel, and the hands relumed; the Mate had the hands redone as well, in an "aged" style. Turns out the hands are not in the best condition, and probably had at least one repair in the past, so looking for another hand set might be an option...I just ........
New strap for my Orange Monster
The SEIKO strap is XL and obviously made to accommodate a wet suit.So, I was searching on the 'net and came upon a pretty cool looking one, ordered and put it on my OM. It's very comfortable and is the size of a regular strap (7.5" vs 2' long).........
