Scratch on 2254 glass.
I have just noticed what looks like a hairline scratch on the glass of my SMP 2254.50. The watch is not even one year old and I have been wearing it under "normal" conditions.The scratch itself is difficult to see (and hence impossible to photograph with my average camera and skills) but under strong light you can just make it out. However, it really bothers me that what should be scratchproof has picked up a minor scratch and I haven't even subjected the watch to any extremes. I'm not sure if O........
Saw a U-Boat at the beach this week
This week, while at a restaurant on the beach, I saw a man wearing a U-Boat wrist watch. I'd never seen a U-Boat in the wild before and was quite struck by it's size and appearance. Looking at photos of U-Boats in the past have never impressed me, not at all, but this one had me mesmerized. I have never been a fan of HUGE watches, but this U-Boat, despite it's size, just seemed ummm right. Not sure which of the U-Boat models it was, but it looked like something from their Classico series........
