Interesting that Hamilton reused this model name not twice, but thrice. This 1951 version is my latest arrival, last of 2011. The movement is a 982-M. List price in 1951 was $200, one of the most expensive in their line-up (for comparison, the 14K Gilbert was $125). I only have 3 post-1950 Hamiltons, including this (the others are a Gilbert and Flight II). Most of you guys have quite a lot of '50s-60s stuff, I know; I've just been getting my feet wet. ........

I use that word 'pimp' in terms of its colloquial meaning as 'primp' - to dress in flamboyant attire.I was watching basketball tonight at Madison Square Garden and noticed Spike Lee in an orange felt hat and red scarf. I really liked it. I feel this way myself. Why wear a black felt hat when you can wear an orange felt hat? That is my question.I've always been this way. And I am thinking this way in terms of watches, too. Why wear a watch that looks like a Citizen when you can wear some so........
