Hi everyone, forst time poster and grateful to have found this forum!I've just inherited a circa 1964 Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch. It is working but is a watch that has been worn for almost 50 years so has plenty of scratches and marks on it. I was hoping you could advise me as to just how desirable a watch like this is, and some idea as to it's value. It has sentimental value but it is unlikely to be worn, so will probably try to sell it. Any advise on how to do that would also be appreciate........

Have had a red sub for years have rarely worn it, got into a conversation with my wifes jeweler about this old watch and he tells me to bring it by some time. Yesterday I took it in for him to check over. The good news he tells me its a real red sub, He actually knows the shop and person I aquired it from in a trade almost 20 years ago. He shows me the 1680 on top and a mid 2 million ser.# on the bottom area. They opened the watch up for me to inspect the movements and they were able to see ........
