Khaki Field Auto Bracelet/Strap Question

Someone told me a few years back that Hamilton Khaki Field Cases are different between models that came with a metal bracelet vs. one that came with a leather strap (which means you cannot fit a bracelet on a watch that originally came with a strap). I was wondering if that was still true.I have a 42mm Khaki Field Auto (H70555533) that came with a strap and was wondering if the bracelet from a similar model (H70515137) will fit my watch.........

Obsessed with brown color

Hello guys..I know I might sound silly with these post. I have 6 watches and just one of them which have a brown strap fits with brown shoes/belt. The best combination are those watches in bracelet and in white dial. I wear a suit most of the times. I liked that the watch band fits a larger wrist like mine. You can take off a link to shorten it if you have a er wrist. Very nice watch and can be used for everyday or for that very special occasion.
