Ok, so I went to my local AD and tried on a Milgauss and a Submariner (which I mentioned in an earlier thread). The prices were $6400 for the Milgauss with the green crystal and $6200 for the Submariner 50th Anniversary edition.I'm not really sure how good of an indicator google shopping is, so I thought I'd ask the pros, do these sound like food prices?........
Recommendations for Oris Watch Service?
Can anyone suggest a watchmaker to service my Oris Small Seconds Diver? It keeps great time when hand wound but will sometimes stop while wearing it or on the winder. It's around 4+ years old and probably due for a general service and cleaning. But I dread the idea of sending it to an Oris authorized service center because it could be gone for 3-4 months based on what I know of owners sending in their timepieces for OEM service.PM's are welcome and appreciated on this subject.
