How to Open a Hamilton Thin-o-Matic?

After reading a bunch of Hamilton posts, I jumped in and bought an eBay Thin-o-Matic. It's running about 6 minutes fast per day, so I thought I'd open the watch and adjust it. From what I've read, I buy a crystal puller and pull the crystal. I'm a quartz watch guy and this seems to violate all laws of nature. Then the stem gets pulled with some careful, controlled "oomph" and the face is free. From there, I can access the back of the mechanism and slow things down.Could someone please confi........

This watch gives a cheap look and also the front dial was to than it appears in the duct image. I don't think this is a Women's watch.
