Passing on omega DateJust, I guess...
Well, I don't have a omega in my collection and have always felt like something was missing..on the'Bay now, there is an older DateJust up for sale for around $2,300.00....this is something I could do(maybe once or twice a year), but I know I wouldn't be happy with such an investment in a 36mm watch...I like larger sizes and 40-42mm are just right for me..oh, well, I guess I'll just have to wait for someone to give away a previously loved DateJust II...........
Renato Diver technical Question
I just saw a Renato Diver Chronograph that claims to have a WR of 100ATM/3300 feet.The pushers are not of the screw down variety,although the crown is.Is is possible that a watch can remain watertight at that extreme depth without more protection for the chrono pushers??Even the Omega SMP chrono has screw down pushers-despite the fact that they can be operated underwater.........
